Eclipse is coming!! We will be having a midnight show at 12:01 a.m. Wednesday, June 30th.  Tickets go on sale Wednesday, June 16th  from 7 - 9 p.m. and also Thursday, June 17th beginning at 5:30 p.m.  The movie will play thru July 22nd.  At the first few shows we will have give aways including free t-shirts. 

We are also currently in the process of ordering new seats for the theatre.  We are getting brand new ones this time and we can't wait.  Donations are currently being accepted to help pay for our new seats - they are costing around $150  each which includes shipping, installation and tax.  Questions or donations can be given to any member of our committee: Brad Jiter, Gwyn Helton, Carol Cole, Tim Miller or theatre Manager Camice Barker.

Hot Tub Time Machine begins tomorrow and then we will follow that with two weeks of Iron Man 2 and then into Shrek 4.  Great line up.  Beginning May 2nd, we will offer free refills on all medium and large drinks AND popcorns every Sunday.  This is in addition to our special Wednesday night speical of free small popcorns to our patrons 55 and up.  So come by on a Sunday and enjoy free refills at  both shows.

For those of you who can't wait to see Iron Man 2 and Shrek 4, it looks very promising that we may be getting these two movies on release.  Not 100% sure yet, but looks good.  Both movies look like they will be very good.

Also for Twilight fans, we are trying very hard to get Eclipse on release (June 30th) with a midnight showing on Wednesday night.  As soon as it is confirmed it will be on our website.

The Chipmunks are coming.  The sequel to Alvin and The Chipmunks will begin December 23rd.  We will have this movie for two weeks, thru the Christmas Holiday.  We will not close any days during Christmas or New Year's.

Beginning January 1st, we will discontinue the Saturday 9:00 p.m. show.  But all other show times remain the same.

Lots of good movies coming out in 2010!  Looking forward to movies such as Sherlock Holmes, Avatar, The Tooth Fairy and Princess and The Frog.  No dates are known for these movies yet, but hopeful to show all of them.

After our showing of Where the Wild Things Are beginning today, we will show Michael Jackson's This Is It.  Can't wait to see it.  Just confirmed yesterday - we will have a special midnight showing of NEW MOON on Thursday, November 19th.  Tickets are on sale now for both This Is It and New Moon.

Special give aways both weeks:  everyone who comes to each movie can put their name in a drawing to win 1.  The one and only poster we received for This Is It and 2. A giant vinyl banner for New Moon currently hanging in the theatre.

I am very excited about our upcoming movies.  Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs starts this Saturday, the 30th and then we are getting Where the Wild Things Are the week of November 6th for our Anniversary week.

And just confirmed - we will be getting New Moon on release - November 20th.  We will have this movie for two weeks.

We also have a really good chance of getting the Chipmunks sequel beginning Christmas Day (but not confirmed yet).

We will be open Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day this year.

Lots of exciting things happening at The Roxy now and coming up.

We have The Informant coming this weekend.  I can not wait to see it.  Remember we now have the 9:00 p.m. show on Saturday nights.

Starting this Wednesday, and every Wednesday, our patrons ages 55+ will receive a free small popcorn.

Other movies we have lined up include The Surrogates (Bruce Willis), Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, Where the Wild Things Are, Couples Retreat and we are very hopeful to get New Moon on it's release date and show for two weeks.  Of course we are at the mercy of the movie companies and things could change, but all of the movies mentioned look good for us to get.

Our six year anniversary is fast approaching - November 6th.  We are planning specials for the whole week including give aways, special ticket/concession price combos and a grand prize of a year of free movies for one lucky  person.

Hello Roxy Fans.

It is September 17th, 2009 and I have decided to start a Manager's Blog to keep you updated on the latest happenings at The Roxy.  Today I would like to report that beginning October 3rd we are bringing back the 9:00 p.m. show on Saturday nights.  We have had many requests to bring back the 9:00 show, so we will provide that on Saturday nights.

Also, we will be getting The Informant.  Not sure of a date yet, but we will get this movie. 

We have started an e-mail club, if you would like an e-mail letting you know which movie is next, go to our Contact Us section of this website and send me your e-mail address.  As soon as I book the next movie, I will send out a mass e-mail letting everyone know what the next movie is.  I will also send out e-mails informing everyone of any special showings or events we will have at The Roxy.
